Biography
The Acid Orchid is in 2023 opgericht door Judith Overbosch (zangeres) en Myriam Geskus (gitariste).
In 2023 is The Acid Orchid ontstaan nadat Judith en Myriam ideeën kregen voor nieuwe muziek in een stevig jasje. Zij kenden elkaar al van hun vorige band, Maidstone, waarin zij meer dan 8 jaar samen hebben gemusiceerd. Judith als bassiste en backingvocalist, Myriam als gitariste. Na het spelen in deze poprockband, werd het tijd voor iets stevigers. Er kwamen al snel wat meer metalinvloeden in de muziek terug en ook word er geëxperimenteerd met verschillende maatvoeringen en synthesizers. Toch blijft de muziek catchy en makkelijk luisterbaar voor een breed publiek. Een heel eigen geluid die het waard is om te beluisteren!
